Tucked away in the northwest of Rhode Island, Harmony is one of three villages that make up the Town of Glocester.  The other two villages are Chepachet and West Glocester. Each village has its own Fire District and coverage area. Harmony is a rural village with borders on Smithfield , Burrillville and Scituate. US Rt.44 (Putnam Pike) runs like a central artery right through the village and the Fire Station is located at #194 Putnam Pike.  The Fire Station has a paid chief and the crew consists of volunteers from all walks of life.  The fire station receives no funds from the town.  All expenses are paid by the Fire Tax , various grants and donations.  The Harmony Fire District Board oversees the operations.

The Harmony Fire Station is not manned at all times but services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Should an emergency arise a call to 911 will send out the call for the volunteers.  Often during the day some volunteers are at the station and Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm the Tax Collector is at the station.  There is also a emergency call box located on the front of the Fire Station.

Look! Here is a Satellite photo of the station.
