The
meeting on 1/17/07 was called to order at 7:08pm by moderator Raymond Fogarty.

L.Michaels.
The
Moderator thanked S. Owens for her help since Lynna left. A “Temp” has been
hired
until a replacement is found.
Treasurer’s
Report:
Balance
November 1, 2006 was $368,601.61. The ending balance November 30, 2006 was
$278,458.38. The expenditures for
December were high.The cash flow is okay up to July 1st if money
keeps coming in.
Sandy
stated the car taxes of $8,000 are due quarterly. Operating budget was discussed.
November’s expenditures were $19,477.87. December’s expenditures were $88,576.00.
A
motion by S.Sette’’ 2nd by J. Richard to accept the Treasurer’s
report. Report accepted.
Tax
Collector’s Report: Omitted we do not have a tax collector presently.
Chief’s
Report:
An
audit was done and is good. It will soon be available for review.
Recent
promotions were granted: Randy Bracket to Capt.and Donna DeConte to Lt.. The offical installation of the new Deputy
Chief Mike Segee held on 1/8/07 was well attended. Representatives were present from other districts as well as from
Harmony.
New
halogan lights are being installed on apparatus floor. Runs have been up and down. There are 3
people interested in cardic school, and show interest in the department. Motion by Jim Richards to acept the Chief’s
report 2nd by S.Sette. Accepted.
A
motion by S. Sette at 7:20pm. Second by J.Richards. Move to Executive Session.

S.
Sette stated, the board during executive session decided that a letter of
acknowledgement be sent to Lynna on her resignation.
Motion
by S. Sette to advertise in the Woonsocket Call and the Valley Breeze Obsever
for the position of Secretary/Tax Collector, with an application submission
deadline of February 2, 2007 2nd by J. Richards. .Approved.
Motion
to adjourn at 7:58pm by J.Richards 2nd by S.Sette. Motion carried.
